A manufacturing process in which a liquid metal is poured into a mold which contains a hollow cavity of a desired shape. We do not manufacture Blackinton® badges in this manner. The process produces an inferior product as compared to using a steel die. A badge that is created via casting has poor detail quality and is less durable than a badge created by a die.
